# Google Workspace (Global)

Work, create, communicate, and collaborate with Google.

Google Workspace is a collection of Google's productivity and collaboration tools. It brings together services such as Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Forms, and more, with your Google account connecting everything together.

Whether you're working on an assignment, writing a document, sharing files, joining a meeting, or collaborating on a group project, Workspace provides a set of tools that work closely with each other and can be accessed from your browser or supported apps.

### Explore Google Workspace

**Google Drive**\
Keep files and folders in the cloud, organize your work, share content with others, and access it across your devices.

**Docs, Sheets & Slides**\
Create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in your browser. Changes are saved automatically, and multiple people can work on the same file together.

**Gmail**\
Send, receive, search, and organize email using Google's email service, with integration across other Workspace apps.

**Google Calendar**\
Manage your schedule, create events, invite other people, and keep track of meetings, classes, deadlines, and other plans.

**Google Meet**\
Create and join video meetings from your browser or mobile device. Meetings can also be created and joined directly through Calendar and other Google services.

**Google Forms**\
Build forms, surveys, quizzes, and questionnaires, then collect and review responses online.

**And there's more**\
Google Workspace includes additional apps and features beyond the ones above. What's available to you can depend on your Google account, organization, subscription, device, and administrator settings.

### One Workspace, many kinds of accounts

You can use many Google Workspace apps with a **personal Google account**, while schools, businesses, and other organizations may provide their own **managed Google accounts**.

The basic experience is usually familiar across both, but managed accounts may have different apps, storage limits, sharing permissions, security requirements, or features configured by the organization.

The guides in this section cover the everyday Google Workspace experience, from getting around its apps and managing files to sharing, collaborating, communicating, and understanding how the different Google services work together.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kb.aris.college/english-us/google-workspace-global.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
